about the artist
Michelle Lorenzten was born in San Antonio, Texas to an immigrant mother and an American father. Her mother is from the Philippines (Visayas and Mindanao) and her father is of Danish, Irish and German descent.
Her family moved to Busan, Korea in 1996 where she lived for 6.5 years then returned to Texas in 2002. Living in culturally diverse places guided her creative style and design aesthetics.
She received two BFAs from the University of the Incarnate Word: Fine Arts and Graphic Design.
